The devastating consequences of austerity on the most vulnerable people in our society have been well documented.
In April 2019 we launched the Greater Manchester Law Centre manifesto in which we demand the restoration of legal aid, a supportive social security system, everyone’s right to a secure home and an end to the hostile environment for benefit claimants and migrants.
We are pleased to share that Greater Manchester Poverty Action endorse and support our manifesto and our vision for a fairer society for all.
Co-Director at GMPA, Tom Skinner, writes about the importance of organisations like the Greater Manchester Law Centre at a time where “reliable access to advice and justice can be a crucial lifeline to millions of people in need”.
We encourage you to have a read of our manifesto here and to continue supporting us in our fight for free access to justice for all.
