Affiliate your organisation or union branch to GMLC

Greater Manchester Law Centre is a campaign fighting together for free access to justice.

Legal aid and is being cut, law centres are being closed and public services are losing funding. But we said: Greater Manchester needs a Law Centre. Going against the grain and against the odds, we opened in 2016 thanks to financial community support from individuals, organisations and trade unions.

The campaign continues; join us in Fighting (that means campaigning) Together (with others) for free access (fully funded legal advice and representation, restoration of legal aid and free high quality face to face advice) to Justice (not just advice, not just legal but to justice).

Join the fight for free access to justice by affiliating to the Greater Manchester Law Centre.

An affiliate is a large organisation such as a firm, chamber or Trade Union who pays a monthly or yearly fee to the law centre, which will entitle them to:

  • Our regular newsletter and information about the upcoming events.
  • Acknowledgement as an affiliate in our literature for public events, as well as our website and annual reports.
  • Invitations to our relevant campaign and development meetings.

Affiliates may also apply for membership status and thus be entitled to vote in the AGM as a representative of their respective organisation. Affiliates who wish to have voting rights at the AGM, as with Members, must complete a membership form for approval by the Management Committee.

It will be at the discretion of the management committee to determine whether an organisation is suitable for affiliate status.

We already work with a number of affiliates and are grateful for their support.

Please fill in the form below to apply for affiliate status. For enquiries please email development@gmlaw.org.uk.
