Manchester Free Legal Help

The scheme aims to assist clients with legal issues in the areas of Family Law and Immigration Law. It can assist with resolving your legal query by facilitating a 20-minute meeting with a volunteer lawyer. Two students will be present at the meeting to make a record of the advice provided. MFLH only provides initial, one-off advice, to assist you to take your legal matter forwards. They are not able to provide representation in any court or tribunal or to contact an opponent on your behalf.

Please note that before an appointment can be offered, your request will be reviewed by staff. If it is appropriate for advice, an appointment will be arranged for you to meet with a solicitor.
