Aisha Qureshi KhanAisha originally worked as a mental health social worker, being committed to social justice and working with vulnerable people within the NHS. She has since retrained as a lawyer and passed her LPC (“Legal Practice Course”, the final vocational stage for becoming a solicitor in England and Wales). Since 2017 has a training contract with Robert Lizar Solicitors.

Aisha began volunteering for GMLC in November 2016 in a front-of-house role. She also helped people fill in applications for ESA and PIP and helped the case worker appeal team.

She is very committed to the work of the Law Centre and fighting together for free access to justice. At GMLC, Aisha is a member of its Services Committee, the Lawyers group and the Strategic Litigation Organising Group (SLOG).
