Support our representations at the Communities and Equalities Scrutiny Committee, Thursday, 7th November 2:00pm, further details here
We have been campaigning against Manchester City Council’s proposed Public Space Protection Order for unfairly targeting homeless people, for carrying a clear risk of abuse of power and for punishing homeless people who struggle to access support. Along with other groups who work with homeless people, we will attend the Council’s Communities and Equalities Scrutiny Committee to make representations urging the committee to make recommendations to scrap the PSPO.
The meeting is open to the public. Join campaigners from the Greater Manchester Law Centre at 2:00pm on Thursday 7th November at the Communities and Equalities Scrutiny Committee, further details here. Please email development[at]gmlaw.org.uk if you are able to attend to support our campaign.
Are you a Manchester resident? Email your councillors today to give your views on the PSPO.
